Charlton were drawn at home to Huddersfield in the third round of the FA Cup, with the match being played on Saturday 5 January.
It is safe to assume it will not be switched to Sunday for television coverage.
It was a fairly low key draw with West Ham v Manchester United the pick of the ties. Arsenal’s trip to Swansea is another game that is likely to be on the short list for television coverage.
Ticket prices will have to be competitively priced to attract fans though the FA do set minimum ticket prices clubs can charge.
A draw with a club from the same division is probably the least popular tie for both fans and players alike.
